Was I the only one who didn't even expect online play?
I'm glad I didn't I guess, this news does not at al disappoint me.

Ok, so the online connectivity has been detailed.
In adventure mode, there is a spotpass system dubbed 'Network LINK' hur.
This sends other peoples links, of their level and items and whatever, onto your adventure map somewhere. Should come across and aid the AI link from someone elses systems in battle, you will get bonus stuff.
I guess that could be considered "online play." I changed the title topic.

Not necessarily. Coop online is fun too.
To me, coop is only fun with people I know. And it's best if they're sitting next to me in the same room. But if that's impossible, sure it could be nice online too. But to me it's not something to put too much effort into.
