Well, it's 2012 and before we know it the Wii U will be out. Along with new hardware launching comes launch titles. So, what do you think will be the U's launch titles? The Pilotwings reboot and Steel Diver launches caught me off guard with the 3DS last year, so I'm stumped for first-party titles. On the third-party side though, I think Ninty needs CoD as a launch title if it comes out in November. What are your ideas?

I'd say based on what we know:
* Darksiders 2
* Pikmin 3
* Ninja Gaiden 3
* Wii U Generic Games a.k.a Wii U Sports or something like that.
* Dragon Quest X
* Killer Freaks from Outer Space
* Ghost Recon Online
* Batman: Arkham City

I'd say that these games are next to definite. Of course, we won't know until it actually launches. I think the industry has slowly been getting stronger launches, and thanks to the 3DS, I'd say Nintendo knows this launch will need some heavy hitters. They can't afford to have one or two games that target a 'hardcore' audience, or it simply won't work as successful as they will anticipate. I'm not saying FPS, but what I am saying is bring out Ghost Recon Online, Ninja Gaiden 3 and Darksiders 2 on launch, it will win.

A new 2.5D Metroid would be an awesome launch title, and would definitely win us some favor from Game Informer. Also, maybe an HD Zelda collection(Zelda, Zelda II, ALttP, MM, WW, TP and possibly OoT and SS in HD!).

i would love to see twilight and skyward sword in HD but i'd rather they continue work on zelda wii u than make oot HD cos that would take ages

I'm not so sure. Mass Effect 3 will be taking data from Mass Effect 2 game saves. At least that's what it said in Mass Effect 2 on those ridiculously long loading screens.

well it did say that mass effect 3 was coming to ps3, xbox360, pc and next gen. it must be wii u since EA has commited to releasing all its key franchises on wii u and mass effect 3 comes out in 2012. you're right about the mass effect 2 data thing but wii u mass effect 3 owners will get around that same as ps360 mass effect 3 owners who dont have mass effect 2.

I prefer the side-scrolling Metroid games by far, but I think it's more realistic that we'd see something along the lines of Metroid Prime Hunters 2-a game with a good reputation among hardcore gamers (and even more so with the Prime games) that could show off how online play should be done. Plus, it never hurts to have a heavy-hitter, first-party game at launch (gives death stare to Steel Diver)

New consoles make money.....

It's a very nice fit.

Unfortunately, now matter what we do, It'll be in there. Activision loves money, and putting COD onto the Wii U will make them even more money,

no no no, this is not the way to make wii u successful, i want the wii u to have cod. because like it or not, many people want cod, and we should not hope that wii u doesnt have something for everyone, its not going to hurt wii u to have cod. it should be there, along with every other multiplat out there. its called wii U because its for everyone!! so every game should be there

Wii Sports U = Probably not, could be, maybe...

Pikmin 3 = Already confirmed, I think. Need source.

Super Mario Bros. U = Very much highly doubt it. It hasn't even started production.
