Who think's we may see a revival of Paperboy on the new wii u.

After seeing the panoramic view demo at ces, it got me thinking about the possibilities of a paperboy game, where you have to deliver to the left and right of you and slide your hand across the screen to throw the newspaper.

If they haven't all ready thought of this, and happen to see this idea online, feel free to borrow my idea and send me a free copy lol!

What's everyone think....

Obviously there would be more to the game than i've described.

Anyone?

Games aren't so basic as they used to be.

How could you possibly make a Wii U Paperboy last longer than 5 minutes?

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

Perhaps you have to deliver different magazines and papers to different properties....

Your given a certain time limit at the start and you have to draw your route out on a map on the u pad before setting off!

Any idea can be expanded upon to make a full game! I think this has potential!

Yeah I agree with Auzzie. If it were to be made I think that it wouldnt last too long.

I think you're wrong... I think it could be expanded upon to created a compelling game!

I agree with Link.
I'd rather see this as a Wii U Ware title than sold in retail.

In neither Uware or the App Store I think Uware will be combined with the appstore it would be a cool 1 or 2 dollar app.

Link is right. A game like this wouldn't be good to sell in stores. It may do good if it is available as Wii U ware like everyone else says. As for the gameplay, this actually looks pretty neat, that fact that swipe the Wii U controller sounds like a lot of fun for a while, although it would probably get boring eventually.

I think you're wrong... I think it could be expanded upon to created a compelling game!

Even if you did expand it, it still wouldn't enhance the game by that much.

I can see this easily becoming like Final Fight. Where it was all good until they went 3D.

Paperboy doesn't need to be complex or have a compelling storyline to be successful. I mean, if you did that, you might as well just create a whole new game, like how the new Rabbids game is Killer Freaks from Outer Space.

If it's anything like Paperboy 64, then yes I'd love to play that. I do agree with the others that it should be a Wiiware title though. The sales would probably be abysmal if it were released in stores. That just isn't the type of game that many people would buy for $60.

Ok well I guess that's why I don't make games for a living, but I do believe Nintendo will be looking to use these sort of game mechanics in a new game.... maybe Miyamoto will do something similar.

Miyamoto loves meddeling around with Nintendo's innovative ways of playing games. No doubt he will unleash the full potential of the UPad and create an astonishing unique game; the likes we would never even imagine.
