I think should make a new Monster Hunter for as a game for the Wii-U. Hopefully they won't mess with the mechanics from Monster Hunter Tri. The single-player was really easy for me anyways. lol It could have had a buff for the monsters or something. Monsters I want to see return would be: DevilJho, Barioth, (Rathlos, Rathian, Diablos) With color varitations. Finally Uragaan. With DLC would make the game a bigger success then Monster Hunter Tri although I still play it after like a Year?
To me monster hunter is a great series and I hope they bring it in with the Wii-U. Also, don't screw with the multi-player! It was amazing besides the messaging system. It could be tweaked a little, but don't get me started on that.

Tell me:
1. Are you hoping for a Monster Hunter game on the Wii-U?
2. What do want to see in it?
3. How could it get better than its previous titles?

Sincerely,The Monster Hunter enthusiasts,
CaptainBravo1

I didn't get to play Monster Hunter Tri as much as I wanted to but if Tri-G comes over I will get it. Do I hope for Monster Hunter to arrive on Wii U, well there is an easy Answer:

Also if Nintendo of America could use Nintendo Direct to help the sells of the game with the west. People love Reggie Fils-Aime so seeing him play a Monster Hunter game and saying how cool it the game is can be a big plus.

Yeah, you've done a great job so far, letting the Metal Heads destroy the palace.

Sadly, as much as I would want it, I doubt that it would come over, I don't think Tri made as much money as they were hoping.

It's great to hear that Monster Hunter 4 comes to the 3DS, but I would rather play it on the Wii U as a direct sequel to MH3 on the Wii. Maybe they are working on a 3DS AND a Wii U version?

Monster Hunter 4 (3DS)
Monster Hunter 4U (Wii U)

You can make a direct sequel to a Monster Hunter?

And Monster Hunter + Wii U = NINTENDO IS SAVED!

Glad to hear what everyone has to say on the topic. From here on out I'm just rambling.

(Here's where my rambling begins.)-> Nintendo from what I've seen and read are going to start trying to appeal to hard-core gamers. Which I say ok whatever just give me my Nintendo high and Monster Hunter! XD Also if they are able to put the grandness of Monster hunter on a little game cartrage for the 3DS than they can make it 10 times no! 20 times better for the Wii-U no questions asked. Well It is more of a given for Japan cuz Nintendo of America never let any good games in. -.- I'm suprised after I think two of being released Xenoblade chronicles. Will hit the U.S.A by April 2012 already got it reserved. Now, just got to wait for Pandora's Tower to be released. Still waiting for Monster Hunter and the return of the Switch Axe.

This made me laugh, so hard when I realized it was Dr. House. Took me a minute cuz I didn't reconize him with a smile on his face. XD

It will definitely come to Wii U since it always comes to the most popular console in Japan (was the PS2 more popular than the Game Cube?) why do you think Monster Hunter Tri came out for Wii instead of PS3. Either way no matter what Console it comes out I'll buy the game and the Console. I remember my first Yian Kut-ku hunt. :)

I get the impression MH does much better on handhelds then on consoles. Plus production values are lower. I doubt we'll be seeing one on any future consoles, just a lot of different games for the Vita and 3DS.

well true but that is because of the multiplayer mechanics of monser hunter in japan where people play more local multiplayer than here where we like more online play.
Also Dragon Quest 10 is coming to the wii U...except it's a mmoish type thingy but I am sure japan will eat that carp up

That equation really only works in Japan. Sure, the series sold a lot, but I'd probably go and say that 75% of the sales were solely from Japan.

Also, most of its fanbase is on the handheld plane, or would probably prefer a PS3 version. It isn't a guranteed success, and it's definitely not one at launch.

I think this is a good idea... for Japan and Europe. I don't think it could be a huge success in America.
