That is how it is here. It'll always show an 'edit' message once you've edited it. I don't really see it as a problem though. What's wrong?

It's a simple per-group setting, which can give groups permission to choose whether that "Edited by" note is shown. Personally, I chose to force it to appear so it would be easier for members to be held accountable for changes they make to their posts.

Nah, I don't think these things have a timekeeper system for the purpose you are speaking of.
