Those sketches are pretty good, though if I could just make one small suggestion, the faces look a bit messy and crowded, I think it could be wise to clean them up a bit and not make them look so busy But otherwise they are really good

But then they wouldn't be nearly as grotesque.

I dunno, I think you could still keep a similar style, just not so much pencil work, though that is just my opinion, you should draw in whatever way you are gifted in.
