The first one is so scary I could only pla y it for like half an hour at a time. I'd have to take five and then play some more. That was the scariest survival horror I ever played. But the second one had more depth of story.

I don't get Dead Space 3. The first two were only startling, rather than frightening, and the only thing that gave them that was the fact that you were alone. Adding co-op to this kind of game is just... stupid. But i'm still glad to see any additional third party support that might be for the Wii U, including this.

The level of scariness in these games all depends on the difficulty you select. It's way more fun when you're running low on everything and always just surviving. While I agree that 2 wasn't that scary, the original was bloody terrifying... For me anyway

I wouldn't get your hopes up for RE6, unless you just want it for the action. I'm just praying that its not like RE5 *shutter* I hate that Sheva Mcguffin.

I know it's 80% action. Some of Leons parts are more traditional tho. The thing is, RE action is so intense that it is almost scary at times, or gives you uneasy or stressed feelings.
No sig.

I'm sad for Nintendo Dead Space wont be joining the Wii U. However I looked at Dead Space 3, and it's become Resident Evil 5 all over again. I'll stick with the original, and some parts of the second one. Dead Space was once the most promising Survival Horror, but alas, all get co-op in the end :(

Since when will anyone realise survival horror isn't scary unless you're on your own with no hope of escape or a friend to save you?

I get what you're saying. The first one was by far the scariest, but I'm personally more into the story side of these games. And this one looks like that side looks like it might be better than ever.
I'm still super excited about dead space 3.

I did. I loved it. It's not scary like the other ones but the story really was quite well told. It's definitely worth checking it out.
