Do you think that there should be a pokemon mmo? Wii u will be capable of mmos. Game freak said that they don't want to do it because they don't want to take the series there. In other words, game freak is really lazy. That's not a very good reason to not make a game though so they should do it

Making a MMO of pokemon is a very very busy thing to do. they'd have to focus alot on it making other games like Super Mario U being delayed and such. Not to mention it'll take a long while for it to be made since this is their first time,

I've been hoping for a Pokémon MMO for years. PKMN MMO would be just plain awesome on the Wii U. There's already been a few decent fan-made PKMN MMO-style games, but I think if someone made a really cool one, and it got popular, we might see Game Freak get the incentive to make an official one. Even just a traditional sprite-based Pokémon would do the trick, I think, though I think a 3D Pokémon MMO would be awesome, too.

Um Pokemon is all the Pokemon company, not Nintendo, nintendo just owns a majority of he shares. Game Freak is the dev team behind Pokemon and I think they are owned by the Pokemon company. Pretty much Pokemon is like bio ware and Nintendo is like EA. Nintendo is powerful enough to say all Pokemon games will be on Nintendo systems, but they aren't directly responsible for development. Until Nintendo pressures the pokemon company/Gamefreak/Genius Sonority ( coliseum/XD/ Batle Revolution) enough it won't happen, and since Pokemon is making Nintendo a crap ton of money as a second party developer that ships millions of software every 1-2 years Nintendo has no reason to pressure them.

Aw, I see. so then a MMO is not out of the question. its just a matter of when they feel like its nessesary to make one.

just imagine the sales it would rain money for all companies involved if they made a pokemon MMO, literally everyone wants it!! nintendo fans and many nintendo haters alike are desperate for a 3D pokemon MMO, we can only hope. i fear they won't do it because they might want to concentrate on a pokemon 3DS game

I wonder if it would be a Sub fee Mmo or a F2P Cash shop MMO. Either way my brother would probably flip out as he loves Pokemon.

I'm not sure if I would want an MMO, don't get me wrong this sounds awesome but I don't think the direction wouldn't be great. Maybe a game in which you could play with a few friends, maybe 8, but I think a Pokemon MMO would be so crowded and insane. Don't get me wrong I love Pokemon and an MMO sounds cool but if Gamefreak doesn't want to take it that direction, there is probably good reason.

Their reason is that they want you to play with your friends in person not online. Pretty bad reason.
