All the pictures seem to show it as Glossy. It looks like a beefed up Wii.

the black one looks more sophisticated in my opinion. I think I'll go with black.

I was going to say the exact same thing. Hmph, idea stealer. Anyway the black does look cooler to me. I really don't like white colored devices, except for the DS lite. So I will be getting black. The controller looks better in black too.the black one looks more sophisticated in my opinion. I think I'll go with black.
