I want the $299 one but in Black, Nintendo Land, the stands, Cradles, etc mean nothing to me, the extra storage is good, but I'll probably stick to Retail

What's the Sega 32X got to do with it ? Also why would you expect the console and the game pad not to have separate AC adapters ? The game pad has to be charged and that's going to be difficult if the console is being used at the same time. It's not unreasonable for them to have separate AC adapters. Just be thankful they are both included.
