I'm really going to miss Nintendo Power...it wasn't the best gaming mag ever...but at least I could tolerate the writers...most magazines are biased against Nintendo and I get tired of reading about how PS360 is superior and all the Nintendo hate.

I have never read it because I am in the UK, I would of loved to read the first couple of issues though.

I'm still hoping that it will be saved...I can't imagine Nintendo would just close it down after all these years...they technically just didn't renew the contract with the publishers...as much as I love having a physical magazine...I can see Nintendo offering it as a digital download...Japan just got an ebook app on 3DS and I can see a similar app on the Wii U with the Nintendo Power being part of it...I hope so anyways.

Eh... The later issues weren't all that great. If you grew up with the early issues, they were pretty good. With the advent of the internet and stuff, Nintendo Power sacrificed their charm to keep up with the times.

How could anyone not love Nintendo Power? It was an entire magazine dedicated to our favorite consoles. It will be missed.

I haven't really gotten Nintendo Power in the past few years, but I still read them whenever I got the chance. When I was a kid I used to get it, and I loved it so much. I used to be so excited reading it and loved how they would put walkthroughs for games into their magazines. Sometimes making pieces of walkthroughs so you had to collect all the issues in a row to get the whole thing. I remember doing that for the Resident Evil REmake on GC.

The issues now are still good and they get me excited when I read them. Most notably the past few issues that featured Virtues Last Reward and Mighty Switch Force HD news.

I started reading the magazine when I was around 11. I liked it for the most part, because I didn't rely on the internet for news like I do now. As I got older I started to stop relying on it for news because of the fact that it was easier to access the internet. Some issues were better than others, but nowadays I only really got them for the reviews of the games.

Anyway, they weren't as good as they used to be. I still liked some things about them though.

Yeahh, one of the things I appreciated was how it highlighted not so popular games as well (such as 999). It made me more than happy. I really am sad to see it go :[

I used to be a subscriber long time ago but I have not been one over the past decade due to having migrated my source of video game updates from paper magazines to the Internet. I believe the lastest magazine in my Nintendo Power collection, which is stashed away in storage, is from around 2001.
