I thought after the wii u preview event the informational floodgates were going to crack wide open. I haven't seen anything newsworthy since that event. Where's my news? Mii verse, game interviews, online details, developer commentaries, pre order bonuses? I thought the muzzles were off now! Why isn't anyone talking?
Do you think nintendo still had everyone silenced?

The thing is, I find myself checking this website and the blog daily, looking for more news, Because of this, even the tiniest bit of news gets me excited and hyped. If they were to release all the information, for example, right now, that would only tide me over for a couple of days, and I wouldn't FORGET about the Wii U but all that info over a long period of time keeps me constantly hyped.

tl;dr
amount of info =/= amount of hype.
Spread it out.

I thought we had seen a ton of news. Product packaging, price, games, accessories, TVii, etc.

There was actually a ton of news revealed.

but we hunger for more.

I think that's the story here. The system seems so sweet, we are starving for more and more info.

Forget the news I never even got a chance to pre-order a deluxe set, I was working and by the time I got a chance it was already sold out! Nintendo you better start ramping up production.

Keep calling and checking if there are any available, apparently people sometimes cancel if they change their mind. Or you might get lucky and they will be given a few extra for pre-orders.

I agree. too much news then to little doesn't make sense. Like with the 3ds, I was hyped for it a year before launch, and then I forgot about it. LITERALLY, I forgot about it and then a while later I heard some news that it was being released next week. :P
I think the 13th was a good conference because it didn't show all of the console, but it was enough to get people even more hyped. And also we can still look forward to news on The unannounced launch window games and Miiverse.

You all want the news... you want it so badly it hurts... but the rush of pleasure once your answers are revealed will be so immense, you'll need something more to satisfy your craving of wanting this... thing... you'll want it so much.. you'll need this thing... this.. Wii U...

I'm assuming that's what Nintendo wants from ya. 50 Shades of Wii U.

Don't torture yourselves with announcements.

As soon as you hear them, you'll have a 10 second squee followed by a 5 day slump.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON
