trying to register my wii u with my nintendo account does not work !

i have done the following,


you are already a Club Nintendo member:

Connect your Wii U console to the Internet and perform a System Update – this will add Nintendo eShop to your Wii U Menu. Link your Nintendo Network ID to your Club Nintendo account, which will register your console with Club Nintendo
it is what is says on the main nintendo site here http://www.nintendo....ndo-665177.html

but it doesn't register it !

just phoned nintendo, apparently it takes a while to update the account.

I am guessing the Zombie U Pack does not come with Club Nintendo Points?
Edit: Just found it after looking in the Game box, rather than all the manuals which came with the system.

I had this problem too, sorted now though.
