Yesterday I bought a Wii Remote Plus on Craigslist and it turns out the up button/arrow on the D-Pad doesn't work. Anyone know of this could be fixed by opening up the remote and tinkering around, or should I not waste my time?
D-Pad not working. Possible to fix?

I don't know if it can be fixed, I would email Nintendo about it. But, the cost to fix it might be so high you might as well buy another remote.

Yeah, you should probably take Blake's advice and buy things like that new, although when it comes to games I almost always wait for a price drop with the exception of Elder Scrolls and Zelda, or just buy one used.

Yeah...it's a shame. This is the first time I've been burned when buying electronics on Craigslist.
I took the remote apart and the connection for the up arrow on the d-pad is visibly damaged. Oh well, at least I only paid $10 for it. I guess I can still use it for games that don't need all the d-pad arrows
