I just want to know what you all think would be better. It sounds like the top one, the official Wii U pro controller cannot be used for Wii games or games like NSMBU. The retro classic controller, sounds like you can play Wii games and NSMBU with it, my question is, if any of you own it, is the retro classic controller a cheap POS? If it is i would rather stick to the official, but just curious if anybody has the retro one what they think.

Get the official.
I need a little bit more input than that

I'd get the wii u pro controller, and I did.
The retro thing acts as both a wii remote and wii classic controller so you won't be able to use it in games that only support the pro controller, but I'm not sure that's a big deal.
The wii u pro controller is very comfortable to hold and play with though.

The retro thing has a thread somewhere on the forum. You could search for pro controller and probably find it.
