Hey all!

On my old Wii, I had purchased the original Paper Mario and World of Goo, but I no longer have that system. Anyone know if it is going to be possible for me to re-download the purchases on my Wii U?? I linked my Club Nintendo account, which tracked those purchases, to the Wii U eShop but I don't see any download options. Any ideas??

You threw away your only chance to transfer your downloads when you got rid of your Wii. The only way to have those games on your Wii U is through a system transfer which you need the Wii that had those downloads.

I believe you have to access the Wii Shop Channel through the Wii Menu to find any original downloads.

Ah, yes, I looked there but unfortunately in the Wii app there is no way to link the Wii Shop to your Club Nintendo account (that I could find, at least).

No problem, at least you didn't have 20+ games that would have sucked.

https://club.nintend...shop-account.do Select Wii.
I'm just curious if you can link the wii mode to your club nintendo account.
I spent a whole 3 seconds in wii mode on mine.

In thoery nintendo could have used club nintendo to avoid the bullpoopie of having to have two systems connected to a tv, but it's nintendo, so that's not how they do things.

I think we can agree that Nintendo does things differently not always better though.

Tell me about it.

I was gutted to find I cannot gift eShop purchases from my Wii to the Wii U, because the Wii U doesn't seem to support the friends code feature in Wii mode.
