I recently got a 52 inch phillips hd1080p tv for Christmas. Ive noticed games like Black Ops 2 and NBA had weird textures. On Black Ops 2 the people look really real and the surroundings as well but If I walk up to somethings they have weird patchy lines kinda like they are fading out its hard to explain. Mario looks and runs perfect and the only bad thing about NBA is the same grainy lines around the players silhouette. Idk if this is texture issues or what. The tv runs movies just fine in 1080p. What kind of graphics do these games run on? Is black ops 2 in 1080?

Black ops 2 is something like 880x720 on wii u which is the same resolution as the 360 and PS3 versions. This could be the cause of the texture issue.

Most likely Is the game trying to catch up with the display or something?

The PS360 versions of the games actually run in subHD so they can stay at 60fps

the resolution he gave is sub hd also that is the resolution of both 360 and wii u while ps3 has a dynamic resolution and so it sometimes go lower than that.

I thought the Wii U is native 720p.
