Depends how low the battery is when you begin charging, if it is completely out, it'll take about about 4.5 hours (according to the manual). It lasts about 80 hours with a full battery (depending on if you're using rumble, etc.).

Same time as the 3DS takes.
But it lasts 200 hours or something crazy like that.
I've never had to charge it yet, but that might be because trine hasn't been updated yet.

awesome thank you guys for that information i got a great deal from my gamestore a pre owned copy of black ops 2 for the wii u and a pro controller for 50.00 so i couldn't pass it up

I had a week off from work i can confirm the pro controller lasts 80 hours 90 if you turn off the rumble feature
