Yeah, Nintendo has always dominated Japan though. The only time they didn't run away with it was in the Sega days. If only out west they can get moving with the 3DS. I think 2013 will be the year of the 3DS out west. Tons of great games and with No more DS support and a new Pokemon series, the 3DS is looking good and next holiday will be paramount. Also if Nintendo can shy away from the usual drought following the release of a new console, the Wii U should continue to be in good shape!

With Dragon Quest VII, Monster Hunter 4, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y plus a bunch of mid-tier stuff like Super Robot Taisen UX and Youkai Watch, 3DS sales will be immense this year in Japan. Pokemon and Animal Crossing will help it in the West too.
