Remember back in the day when you could hook up a slot to the back of your controller that would allow you to play Gameboy games into the N64? I remember spending lots of times playing Pokemon on my dads business box t.v. when I was younger. Nintendo now has the ultimate chance to strike again with this feature. The gamepad makes this even easier, using this as a screen to emulate the 3ds game. Nintendo could put out an attatchement for the gamepad to put in 3ds games and it could also use infared lasers to transfer it to and fro between the 3ds and the wii u. I think this is what is going on with the new monster hunter game so doing it in Pokemon would make so much sense. You dont even have to develop a new game just give us the option of streaming the game through the gamepad and or television. What do you guys think? Could this work?

Uhm...to be honest, I think the only GameBoy games that worked with that thing were games that had N64 counterparts...and even then, you couldn't actually play the GameBoy game.

The idea you have is neat, but I'm not sure that it would work due to DS/3DS games looking awful when they're put on any screen besides the DS/3DS screens, and the fact that the GamePad and most TVs don't actually have 3D capabilities.

But it would be cool, I'll give you that much. I just don't think it's likely is all.

It won't happen. If you could play 3DS games on a WiiU then people would stop buying 3DS systems.

No there was a 3rd party adapter that let you play any Gameboy game on the N64.
