So have you noticed yet that the WiiU recently came out? Now do you realize how long it takes to develop a truly good game for a system? Look at Skyward Sword it took 4 years to make (Me thinks). Not only that I personally believe the LoZ Demo at E3 2011 was better than this Killzone PS4 trailer.

Well you can fell it was better, but it wasn't better graphically (also we are now comparing a tech demo that had no one playing it with a gameplay demo that did). A good game doesn't need four years, most AAA development is done in two years and most of the problems tend to be design choices, not time restrictions. In any case you point doesn't excuse that even Nintnedo are throwing obvious last gen ports onto there own system and nothing else. They can't do that and expect others to do more can they?

Nintendo just needs to focus on creating games optimized for their console. TBH, there was nothing shown on the PS4 demonstrations to indicate a massive leap compared to Nintendo's Wii U. I believe that when E3 2013 comes, Zelda, Bayonetta2, and 'X' will hold their own to whatever PS4 will have. PS4, will definitely be more expensive than the Wii U. Also, by the time the system releases the Wii U, will be able to attain a price-cut if Nintendo so wishes.

I bet that the Killzone demo was not real time. They can say its real time all they want, but Sony also said the Killzone 2 demo at E3 2005 was real time.

Killzone 2 came out looking exactly the same as that demo and infact some people think it even looked better!! the killzone footage shown for ps4 IS in game real time, get over it and live with it!

Did this really require it's own thread? Seriously, we have enough of these "PS4 rulez, wii u sux" threads.

Hardly. This is the general gaming forum and this discussion is about an upcoming competing console. The discussion is totally relevant.

All the released Wii U games were developed on last gen tech which is why none of the games look mind blowing yet. FYI. Wait until we see new games with the new engines before you say its last Gen.

You obviously either have far more confidence then most or are quite cyclical. I suggest you don't be disappointed when you realise that what the Wii U can do is hardly any better then the existing games. The Wii U is not significantly more powerful then the Xbox or PS3 and the games won't be significantly better. Regardless of the tools or dev kits that doesn't change the hardware in the console. And gain I stress its not just about the graphics, sound etc. but the all round gaming experience where Nintendo has obviously missed the boat.

I disagree. Both Nintendo and third party devs have had enough time to start their Wii U projects and we should have far more games and far better quality games by now.

Mkay, but your are incorrect. My pc isn't strained when streaming, in demanding games like crysis 3 I see maybe a two or three frame rate drop (around a 5% performance drop and that is for a program that isn't optimized for my specific system).

We didn't see anything in that demo that we haven't seen done better on the pc platform, so why would you think it isn't real time?

Agreed...nothing shown on the PS4 made my X360S (Valhalla ver) look dated; let alone the Wii U!!! The only ones thinking those wouldn't be in-game are those who haven't played HD games long enough and just recently updated. C'mon the grfx on the PS4 while great was not really blowing away current gen systems. Wii U will be all right, and shouldn't have a problem creating visually appealing games despite the PS4's arrival.

Diminishing returns, it will take more and more power, and the differences will be less and less noticable.
