#289349 The Order 1886 Gameplay Demo (E3 2014)

Can't wait for that game, reminds me of Dracula which is awesome. Gears plus horror game, plus a cinematic look to it is just awesome.

Next gen Nintendo needs to make a fantastic standard controller with a powerful system.

I hope Nintendo never does this. Its just boring and we've already got two consoles which are almost identical, we don't need another.

#287667 Resident Evil insiders says next game at E3, won't be RE7, more like Reve...

Not linking to the source for the pics because NGG will throw a fit. But anyway, I've followed NewsBot for a few years and this guy knows his stuff; he's got reliable hook ups, regularly does interview with old RE staff and collectively knows more about the franchise than any single person who's ever worked on it.

Anyway, his hints are intriguing:
-Game WILL be at E3
-His winking face at "certain" fans being happy lends me to believe this won't be 20 Michael Bay movies stitched together like RE6 was. Honestly at this point I'll just settle for another thoughtfully produced, fully cohesive game with strong pacing. It doesn't even have to be a full return-to-roots thing (impossible as it is anyway). Also, since it's going to be a subtitled entry instead of a numbered one, I imagine it will follow more closely to Revelations than RE6 anyway.
-Three returning characters, all of whom haven't been seen in a new game in at least ten years or have never actually made an active appearance

I have come to be extremely negative about this, but the Wii U is beyond saving. Yeah, we'll get Zelda and Smash, which will sell consoles, but it won't ever be enough. It's going to remain a first party console only.

Which I don't really have a problem with. I will buy a PS4 eventually, and I already own a PS3. The Wii U is just not enticing enough to the average player, casual or not. The GamePad is a joke. I don't hate it, it's just never utilized. Mario Kart 8 uses over half the screen for a giant car horn, and I'm sure the new Zelda will just have items and such on it. Very much reminds me of 3D on the 3DS.

#285040 $399 Xbox One without Kinect launching in June

I still have no reason to buy an Xbox One (and, to be honest, most likely never will. They don't have any games that I care for, really), and that's too expensive for a console to begin with (in my eyes).

#250072 SSB4 a boring rehash?

Posted by Gaymer on 06 October 2013 - 08:20 PM

One year is not quite a "looooong" time. Especially since they're revealing veterans (including unlockable ones) left and right. You'd think they could spare us one newcomer.

They're getting the confirmed veterans out of the way, but it takes time for them to decide which ones are returning. After that, then we'll probably have more newcomers.

I agree with Alex I think it will be more or less the same game with better graphics kind of sounds like a game that we all make fun of Call of Duty except without the yearly releases

Even if this were the case, you just nuked your argument.

*reads thread*

Yet another sterling example of people with incredibly poor perception jumping to incredibly poor conclusions.

Your constant name changing is a boring rehash.

Sounds like you're just not giving this game any chance at all before anything is really revealed about it.

Remember when everyone decided that Rayman legends was going to be awful?  Turns out they were wrong.

Nobody said Rayman Legends was going to be awful. They just got their panties in a knot because it was a Wii U exclusive.

Boy, you'd best start runnin'...

As Villager has already mentioned, the mechanics have improved over Brawl's mistakes, and the much more stable netcode of the Wii U will make the online a thriving community for those who can't or don't attend tournaments. Plus, there's Megaman. Any nay-saying becomes moot once you remember that Megaman is playable.
