Right. I had read that if you wipe the drive backed up saves won't work on the console, something about them only being valid in that 'session'. Have you tried this? Thanks.

Yeah i tried that. In fact you have to turn the console off after you get that message, you can't back out. I tried deleting and moving the data, both give you that error message. I can delete or move the main game, save and update data, just not the dlc.

I can see why you'd do this. I prob would too. My current problem is an ever growing backlog which is made worse by my eye for a bargain!

I'm not good at this game either, but I've still enjoyed it. I think I was worrying about how much I get done in each day and was rushing it instead of just exploring at first. I'm right in thinking there's no time limit aren't I?

I have also struggled with the controls. In spite of all this the charm of the game is great and I genuinely feel bad when my pikmin die. Which is wierd!
