#316719 Confirmed: Fatal Frame US release - Digital Only

Posted by Kokirii on 24 August 2015 - 04:34 PM

Yeap no sale here either, i have stopped all digital purchese on the Wii-U on anything above £10 now, no point anymore spending £40 on digital games when the system is already winding down.

I see your point, but there's a good chance that NX will be compatible with Wii U games, including digital ones.

Was scheduled for this year, now sometime next year. Brings back some memories with the art style of Daytona.  Love everything 90's

Hello everyone,

it's been a while since my last update so apologies for that, rest assured development is moving ahead smoothly and on schedule.

For the time being I wanted to share with you a few screenshots of the new track and cars.

I'm also happy to say that we have the game up and running on WiiU at 60 fps!

#258602 Knack out sales Mario in UK

Posted by 3Dude on 02 December 2013 - 10:55 AM

Ok i am a bit unsure of the etiquette here, should i stop enjoying mario because it was outsold by another game, or i should still enjoying mario even though it was outsold by another game, please internet, tell me how to think and feel. lol

You should enjoy mario while you can, whilst looking on in horror how mindlessly your pavlovianly conditioned peers throw money at a pile of garbage with game design that was bad back in the n64 day, Whilst completely ignoring a far, far, FAR better game, as you realize their actions are shaping the future.

#258477 Reggie: Why you should buy a Wii U this Holiday season.

Posted by Azure-Edge on 01 December 2013 - 01:18 PM

Mostly pr speak, but it i am quite willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, and with the PS4 and XBO showing nothing but mediocrity game wise i have got plenty of time spare to allow Nintendo the chance to wow us on a more regular basis than they did through 2013.

Unfortunately it seems that mediocrity is what people want. In fact they want the exact same mediocrity they've been getting for years, just shinier. Give them an FPS with the same controls as the last 50 games, a five hour linear campaign that's padded with cinematic events that you watch, a multiplayer mode that hasn't changed a bit from the previous entries aside from some gimmick (dog tags, dogs, RC cars, etc.), and boom you have yourself a game of the year contender. Oh and don't forget high production values and achievements. If the game isn't comparable to a Michael Bay film then it's not even a game.

#258443 Super Mario 3D World receives 8 10/10s, get hype

Posted by Gamejunkie on 01 December 2013 - 08:32 AM

Just bought this for my boy and he seems to enjoy it. I am a disappointed though, it does not look like a next-gen game at all. Poor washed out graphics, lack of polish, occasionally jerky animation and what is with the ugly and glitchy shadows?

I thought Super Mario U lacked a degree of polish but this looks positively unfinished.

In which case then you've not been playing the same game as everyone else.

So do you guys think this is better than Mario Galaxy 2? this is a supposed next generation console and this game isn't a patch on Galaxy in either ambition or realisation. It's a high fidelity version of a 3DS game, maybe you guys think that is good enough but I expected better.

I am sure Nintendo have some real next-gen titles lined up -  I refuse to believe that such a hugely talented and respected software house is not trying to push the game design envelope in some form or another.

So... You want Nintendo to jump the shark? There's a lot of good ideas in SM3DW, and I'm really enjoying it.

The point is why are you comparing it to Super Mario Galaxy 2 in the first place. Whilst they're both platform games they are of a different style and design with one being a single player fully 3D based game and the other is a single and multiplayer game in what is closer to 2.5D. They are both top not  quality games in their own right. That said Super Mario 3D World isn't trying to follow in the foot steps of Super Mario Galaxy 2 bit it doesn't make it any lesser of a game in any way.

#258230 Small features that will greatly improve Wii U for me

Posted by Foot on 29 November 2013 - 08:32 AM

I think the most needed things we could use right now are

1. Cross Game Party Chat, with easy tasking of this available in the both home menus (the actual home menu, and game suspending home menu). I also think that this should replace Wii U Chat or embed it into the multitasking menu

2. Accounts linked to the internet, not tied to the console

3. Even faster loading times (Lately I've been noticing slowdown with newer released titles)

4. Game install from disc (this would solve a lot of Multiplatform texture and loading issues)

Posted by NintendoReport on 29 November 2013 - 06:34 AM

here are some features i would love that the next system update includes, and please feel free to show yours

1. cancel region lock( come on Nintendo!. i need to share games from my friends but their systems  are European while mine is American)

2. ability to resume the game from exact place after system has been shut down

3. game streaming

4. no more re setup for hdmi and non hdmi

More features the better I suppose as long as it enhances gameplay, and the social aspect regarding MiiVerse and communication. I thought you didn't have a Wii U or sold it?
