It all depends what emotions or feelings you are trying to convey. I personally like MIDI music better in my games.
MIDI really helped the emotion in Majora's Mask.

Wii U Hardware
*sigh*
Here we go again.
How many times do these threads have to be made?
Epic Games confirmed this about Unreal Engine 4 MONTHS ago.
This 3rd Party problem has been with Nintendo for years, upon years now. Anything negative is to be expected.
Rayman being delayed is all Ubisoft's fault.
Is NG3: Razor's Edge even a big deal?
The only big problems for Nintendo: Architecture of the Wii U scaring 3rd Parties. Bad Marketing. Explaining the meaning of the Wii U.
THOSE problems are what need to be fixed.

What who could do with the pad? DICE? EA won't let them do anything with the pad because of the current corporate relationship, that is the point. Nothing else going on here.
Sorry if I read the tone of your post wrong.
Okay. Saying innovating gameplay is an overstatement. But having features such as off-tv play and managing classes and whatnot from the GamePad would big bonuses.

Chill out bro. Read the actual article, and don't just react to the title.
By the way, FPS is not an innovative concept, nor is DICE going to be innovating within that genre, you want innovative gameplay stay away from FPS.
I've read the article. What do you think I was thinking? That it WON'T come to the Wii U because it's too high spec'd?
And what I'm referring to as far as innovation is to what they could do with the pad. All that would need to be done is to get a porting team to do the work. That sure hasn't killed Ubisoft.
Why did you assume things with my post?

This is beyond ridiculous. I guess I'll just get it for the PS4. So much for the innovating gameplay I wanted.

Most video game music is instrumental right? Anyway, when I did listen to MIDI it was from games mostly of the NES variety. Like SMB3, SMB, LOZ, etc.
Very true. They are just a more unique type of instrumental. I personally find music from the SNES and N64 the most fascinating!

It would have sold more systems had it launched last month.
But It's a good thing they see the big picture.

This is old news.
Of course it's old news. But it's quite sad how Platinum Games has to KEEP clarifying this.

I'm looking forward to this.
I really hope FOX doesn't get all greedy and all powerful with the dub... I'd really hate to have a crappy localization dub...
Although something similar to Dead Zone or History of Trunks would be pretty sweet, especially if they had the rocking music.
The music in the movies were awesome! I loved the rock music.

I'm excited for it! The enemy looks weak,But maybe there's a twist it
and funimation owns the right for the whole animated dbz series, century fox only evolution
Battle of the Gods is a feature film, like Evolution. So it would be up to Fox to dub it. Sean Schemmel (the FUNi voice of Goku) has no word on the dub for it.

Clearly those people have no idea what MIDI really is and how it is used.
When I wasn't heavily involved in MIDI years ago in the 90s, I thought it had a generic sound (the old FM synthesis quality). That was until I got educated about it over the past five or so years. Little do people know you can map it to have all kinds of realistic effects. The problem is people don't really know it and they think MIDI is just a sequenced song file with generic sounds. How wrong they are.
I really like the variety that MIDI has. You can have that very synthetic sound to a more realistic orchestrated sound.

I'd probably just get it for my PS3. I still would rather have a Wii U version.
