It sure would make sense! I like the design a lot better than the old one, too.

#113685 Launch Day Advice

Posted by coolsarahkry on 29 September 2012 - 12:46 PM in Wii U Hardware

My GS isn't having a midnight launch. They'll open early Sunday, and we have 48 hours to pick up our pre-order.

Just called my gamestop-they don't know if they're having a midnight launch, but we do have 48 hours to pick up the pre-order.

Anyone know if I can buy these cards online, but I want they send me the code to my email and put it in the eshop, I don't want they send me the physical card to my home.

If you are willing to buy them online, why don't you just put money on your e-shop with a credit card?

In America, no. You pay tax in the eShop, it'll be added at the checkout of the eShop.

In Europe, no. And VAT is added to the price of everything before the checkout.

Thanks. That's great! When will these be in gamestop?

#113628 Kirby Wii U ideas

Posted by coolsarahkry on 29 September 2012 - 07:39 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I want something more along the lines of how Kirby 64 was. As much as I loved Return to Dreamland, it felt like Kirby Superstar which isn't a bad thing, but I kinda wanted something like Kirby 64, ya know? I guess for a new unique Kirby, I'd have to go with another Air Ride. I seriously feel like there should be another. Especially with online play now. Didn't the original have online or system link?

If they made a sequel to Kirby Air Ride, it wouldn't be a new kirby series, though.

I can see an Air ride sequel doing well on 3ds, however the split screen City Trial was really fun-one player could play on the gamepad if it were on the U. And the original did have system link, or something like that...

I would like if they focused on working out the racing to make it more skill-based- you can win without doing anything. Also, a wonderful huge Kirby city to race around is what I really want. With today's technology, they could make the city as big as they wanted, but too big and Kirby vs Kirby action would be hard to come by. (remember throwing bombs at other kirbys from afar?)

YEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!! I am overjoyed! this is great news! Now I can purchase them myself without bothering my parents for the credit card info!

I can also ask for them for Christmas and birthdays! And it's for wii u too? Sweet. Now I can finally download nintendo games easily.

Just wondering, is there certain stuff you can only buy using a credit card? Also, you have to pay tax, right?

#113272 What 'Wii' know about the Wii U.

Posted by coolsarahkry on 27 September 2012 - 04:39 PM in Wii U Hardware

-November 18, the best days of our lives.

You bet.

#113258 Are you concerned about if the Wii U can breaks because of overuse?

Posted by coolsarahkry on 27 September 2012 - 03:45 PM in Wii U Hardware

I never thought of this. ...
After all, it is nintendo. They're hardware is reliable stuff. The only system I've heard stories of breaking is the DSi, probably just because my friends are clumsy. XD

#113255 Kirby Wii U ideas

Posted by coolsarahkry on 27 September 2012 - 03:40 PM in Wii U Games and Software

This isn't even speculation, it's just me thinking about Kirby.

I really like Kirby: Canvas Curse and I think it would be really cool if they brought it to the wii U, in the form of a sequel. The first player would use the touch screen on the gamepad. Maybe they could have a co-op mode.

However, I don't think nintendo has ever made a sequel to any of the "quirky" kirby games that do not follow normal gameplay. (I haven't researched this)

Nintendo should, of course, bring a classic kirby game to wii u. I would enjoy a single player or co-op adventure, for this.

Although I would love a sequel to Kirby's Epic Yarn (I haven't played it, but I'm asking for it for Christmas), I don't think that's something nintendo would do. Sometimes you just have those one of a kind games...(like Mario Sunshine) Speaking of of one of a kind games, they should create another amazing, completely new one for wii U!

#113213 New Wii U games or Hoax?

Posted by coolsarahkry on 27 September 2012 - 02:25 PM in Wii U Games and Software

kirbys epic yarn 2? screw that, that has fake writen all over it, the first one was a flop (maybe not in sales but over all gameplay it was)

The first one was a flop? I think not.

#113001 Information of the Wii U Sampling Tour coming "Very Soon"

Posted by coolsarahkry on 26 September 2012 - 04:08 PM in Wii U Hardware

They should come to hartford, CT, because isn't CT one of the richest states? I live in connecticut so I would be able to go...

they'll definitely just stick with New York, though.

There's a video on nintendo's site that will get you hyped for the wii U!
http://www.nintendo....me-lineup-video
It's also a good way to quickly see if you want any other games.

Note: Not all of these games are launch day. A lot are launch window games.

I was under the impression that they would be at your local gamestop. I didn't realize that a tour is clearly traveling only to specific areas. Opps.

#112982 Whats the age range

Posted by coolsarahkry on 26 September 2012 - 03:19 PM in The Café

If you've pre ordered the console, than you shouldn't worry about getting there early. Unless you want to be the first and/or get home faster. I'm leaving at 5:00PM for my GameStop just because I want to get home faster ( plus it's nice being there early in my opinion). If you haven't pre ordered, than yes you should worry.

Yeah, then I probably won't be going to a midnight launch. Sorry for all the questions, but how did you know your gamestop is having a midnight launch? I heard they weren't going to. Or did you just call and ask? Thanks `^^

#112978 Whats the age range

Posted by coolsarahkry on 26 September 2012 - 03:12 PM in The Café

Not to mention, the week Wii U launches is usually the week of Thanksgiving break in most schools. I get to play the Wii U all week, lucky me :3. Going to the midnight launch too.

Lucky you! :) Do you know if those who preordered need to worry about getting there early? Also, I think I have school on Monday, Tuesday, and maybe Wednesday that week, but I definitely have Thursday and Friday off.

#111880 Sleeper hit and bust of the launch lineup

Posted by coolsarahkry on 23 September 2012 - 09:19 AM in Wii U Games and Software

its kind of frustrating to me when people say Zombi U will be a sleeper, when it is the most hyped launch game, And when people say that farming simulator is a bust when everyone expects it to do poorly.

Yes, I agree.

#111858 Sleeper hit and bust of the launch lineup

Posted by coolsarahkry on 23 September 2012 - 08:23 AM in Wii U Games and Software

To clarify, A sleeper hit is one no one expects to do well or be fun, but it ends up blowing people away. A bust is exactly the opposite, it is one that people Expect to do well but ends up flopping.

Thank you for clarifying this.

#111797 What type of Gamer do you consider yourself to be?

Posted by coolsarahkry on 23 September 2012 - 04:06 AM in General Gaming

I picked Hardcore, but not because I like those types of games in the Hardcore choice that you put up there. I chose it because almost all of my free time goes to gaming.

Since when have genres gotten into the mix of whether a gamer is Casual, Core or Hardcore. If you spend most of your time playing video games then you are hardcore, it doesn't matter whether there is blood in a game or if you placing down blocks on a screen. Why do companies do this now and people do this now? If any genre is supposed to be "Hardcore" I'd say it is RPGs, not shooting games with blood and gore. I say that because it takes plenty of time and dedication just to beat an RPG rather than running through an FPS in three hours. I just don't get it. It bugs me.

Yes. This is why I chose hardcore. I can spend days play pokemon, paper mario, pikmin...it's not about what game you play, but how long you play it.
