literally just took my wii back to walmart because of this - they had just gotten some in about an hour ago, and they thankfully saved one for me... gonna be very careful when i install the update tomorrow morning
Just to clarify markarro , did a power outage knacker your machine or losing internet connection?

For mine it was a power outage - the kids actually unplugged it from the wall to move to a different tv. It was plugged in for at least six hours afterwards, and nothing happened at all, so I took it back and got a replacement
To bad about the kids unpluggin it. Parents beware! Hope ur replacement is all good now
So u left it plugged in for a further 6 hours and nothing?...Does that de-bunk the stories that its in auto pilot then , on the black screen? And it IS actually Bricked?
