You're not the average American then. You'd be naive to think that a lot of xbox 360 owners won't buy the xbox one just because it's xbox. If you look at the xbox forums, you have hundreds of people defending microsoft saying it'll be fine, wait for e3, blah blah blah.

Basically, pretty much the same stuff going on these forums, "Wii U will be fine, wait for E3, rabble rabble rabble" and defending the rehashed games, and excusing old tech as new tech bc some shiny things we're put on top the old things. /flamesuiton

smdh, had nothing to do with nintendo. in the past it was a pretty handy to many people to be able to slap in an aftermarket HDD for multiple reasons, same with ps3.

I also saw today that Xbox Juan 500gb hard drives cannot be replaced....but "players can add additional storage to their console’s via third-party USB 3.0 devices" another fail, imho...

I dont buy used games usually so it doesnt bother me. I like the Xbox One and E3 will decide it for me. Sony burnt me bad on my Vita so thats why im leaning

I have 2 vitas so i know where your coming from, i plan to keep at least one of them for the PS4 in hopes it really is a big part of the PS4 and not another bluff like they said it would be part of ps3. so we will see

Same here, I have 2 vita's (launch 3G and the crystal white AC3 bundle) and they both sit so long the battery has discharged so many times. My 3DS which ive only had a few months gets tons of play time, I have luigi's mansion, monster hunter, mario kart 7, mario tennis, and paper mario. ALL are great games! My body is ready for Animal Crossing

I see they also have Sonic Racing ripped and up for grabs too....

We will probably get Star Wars games since Disney is in charge. They will want to see it on all consoles and have already shown their support for wii u with Disney infinity.

Im sure it is more the fact that Disney Infinity was a no brainer for WiiU due to the fact Nintendo consoles usually have more of a younger install base over the other consoles...

Nintendo already had the most powerfull console once (N64) and one of the second most powerfull console too (GC). Did it help Nintendo? No.

The market always said that it doesn`t  care about graphics or processing power.

 

People have always criticized Nintendo: too kiddie; underpowered, etc. It`s always something.

3rd parties like EA have since a lot of time a go, unsupported Nintendo consoles. Nothing new. It`s about the userbase: if they buy all kinds of games, companies will support them.

If all kinds of games are not available, the userbase moves on to console that has said games....

i dont care, they must of had a clue at what sony and microsoft were making, and they no to make things easier for developers to produce big cross platform games to make a console on a par with whats coming out, and ive stated this a million times THEY PROMISED THEY WOULD WIN BACK GAMERS BY WORKING WITH DEVELOPERS TO GET BIG TITLES RELEASED ON NINTENDOS NEW PLATFORM!

Im sure you will get ripped apart by the fanboys here, but i pretty much agree with this and feel like im sitting in the same boat as you.

I am sure it will have a slow start like pretty much every console launch these days, but they will have so much support behind them that i've no doubt they will push through. They will have doom and gloom threads all day long, but the support they have and their marketing will come out pretty strong in the end i think.

The reason i am hesitant to buy 3rd party for nintendo lately is the fact that a lot of nintendo 3rd parties aren't supporting their games for Wii U after launch, DLC's, updates, bug fixes, ect. Sure we MIGHT get some of that stuff at some point but it always seems like we are at the back of the bus waiting, if we even get it at all.

     Guess i will be the only one that isnt getting excited, another mario, so what, i really doubt that it will be unlike anything we have ever seen. Only thing i find interesting so far will be Metroid and the "X" game. 3-5 nintendo games....pretty sure we know what they are by now so no news here unless nintendo decides to do more than slap some slightly better textures on than last gen nintendo.

     Now the 10-20 3rd party games, this would be interesting to me, however so far ALMOST every 3rd party game worth playing wont be on Wii-U, so im curious where they found that many to bring to WiiU, im going to go ahead and expect 10-15 shovelware titles, and hopefully a few good ones.

      Look, i enjoy my WiiU a good bit, but realistically, how huge can nintendo possibly go with the same stuff and honestly get super excited with titles ive been playing for almost 25-30 years. I know fanboys will jump in and go all Mario on me and how it never gets old, or how its a first party console (i even said that one myself) but wasnt this marketed to core gamers too? maybe this was a vent, but im not expecting to be too wow'd here.

Azure Edge is right, as a GS user, the real damage is in the charged hits. Everyone plays differently but when im in the middle of a fight the only time my GS is unsheathed is when i go for a charged attack, then i put it away, run into position and unsheath for a 2-3 charge attack. Learn the monsters movements/attacks and dont get greedy (meaning dont always wait for a 3 charge).

I went a similar route using G Jaggi into high rank, then wound up switching from GS to GL, which got me into Barroth gear, did that for a long time, recently went and had enough for Volvi set so went back to GS, then tonight just got full Rath Soul gear after 2 nights of farming those ruby's >:| turns out capping azure rath got me them quicker than trying to rely on tail cuts which never got me any. Happy though with new armor and dios blade for now, time to press forward again and chill on farming.

You can not possibly be serious..... Wii U isnt getting a fraction of 3rd parties that ps4/nextbox will, heck, its barelly getting anything new that ps360 is getting...... To the OP, Nintendo is a first party console, if you enjoy those games, get them, if you enjoy 3rd party more, wait....

I've been debating on this game, would you guys reccomend that it is THAT good?

I work 50-60 hours a week, and right now i have over 130 hours logged so far.... Some of these other guys in Grank would probably laugh at my 130 hours, yes its that good and will equally P!$$ you off at the same time. Also the game is deep, I mean as deep as your MeMa's you know what....

As i stated above, all you need for the audio is an audio cable with a male connector on both ends (easilly found at any electronics store and cheap) plug one end into the gamepad, the other end into the audio input of whatever sound device your using. I know this bc i was in the same exact boat you were in before i replaced my monitor. Shouldnt cost more than 20 bucks for the DVI to hdmi adapter you have pictured above, and the male/male audio cable. When you use the headphone jack on the gamepad, all sound is output to the sound source whether it be headphones or the speakers you have the cable plugged into. If your confused on the audio cable im talking about then refer to the image link below.....

Monster hunter, that is all......

What i did at first when i only had a dvi option, was the typical hdmi to dvi adapter, for the audio i just used a male/male/ audio cable and plugged one end into gamepad and the other end into tv/surround sound. Worked like a charm.

Got mine for Monster Hunter and 1st party and some 3rd party.......Well, got 2 out of three ^^
