I am expecting some sort of third-party cooling stand to be made. I can see the Wii U generating tons of heat.

yea, they should just recase the whole thing becouse its ugly and its over-long when it just could be a little bit fatter like the xbox 360

shouldn't be cramming it into anything tbh, a console, just like a pc, needs enough room around it so it can get rid of the hot air and get fresh cold air. This console is going to generate a lot more heat than a wii and stacking things on top of it or around it might cause it to overheat.

yea, the wii u is only a small amount bigger than the wii and just the wii gets pretty warm so hope the wii u doesnt overheat.

If that was actually real, I could see so many problems with it.

Then your right, i have tried it (spy kids 4D), and it didnt even work, your supposed to scratch on a number on a little card you get when the number shows up. I didnt feel any kind of arome, and thats maybe for the best. (if you dont like to smell on a piece of paper wich are supposed to smell like doodoo and barf)

Hooking up extra controllers by cable, to save compressing the signal for wireless streaming?

the thing is, (if thats the case), it wouldnt be there if nintendo wont sell seperate controllers.

When i first saw the bottom of the wii u controller, i thought it was a USB port for charging the controller like the mini usb port on the ps3 controller. But no, it IS a hdmi port, and i know we pretty much know that now. but there is also another thing i noticed in this video: (at 1:24), he reveals an AC port that i havent seen yet. he also confirms the hdmi port.

....Soo..what could the hdmi port be for??

in that case,they must realize that it doesnt work that way, people dont expect handheld versions to be just as good as a console version.

^ i totally agree with you, actually, i never really liked the SMG games. I dont really know, but it maybe is that it isnt really mario-based.

If i were to decide, i would want a super mario 64 2.

I want a super mario 64 2. But what do i mean by that?

1. It haz to be open world, not linear like SMG.
2. Bring back the normal healthbar and not just three lifes, that way, enemies can take different amount of damage on you, which makes more sense, (a chain chomp taking as much damage as a goomba seems wierd to me)
3. No annoying power-ups that last for ten seconds,i want normal mario.
4. Make 1-ups harder to get.

Thats what i can come up with at least for now.
SMG didnt meet any of these "requirements" for being as enjoyable as SM64 and SMS.
But this is just my opinion of course.

Well, the RCA cords are. The HDMI one is...a Monster Game cord that says it's "engineered for the Playstation 2" but it was working just fine yesterday.

EDIT: I also just tried it on my parents TV, no luck.

ps2 has hdmi??

Treyarch has posted a job listing for someone to "adapt graphics and other major systems in our engine to a new platform."

“bringing our hugely successful game to a new console.”

There is a big chanse that the new platform is WII U, but we are not sure yet. If i were to tell you that a new cod is coming to wii u (which i have no idea if it will or not), what would you think of that? And how could the controller be used?

a second analog pad will make it possible for some fps games and other games that needs two sticks/pad.

I can see nintendo remaking the 3ds and for those who already got one, the add on will fix that. Just like the motion plus and wii remote plus.

theres no such thing,if its multi-touch,then you can use 2 stylus's
