#174446 Ganbarion (Co-dev of Pandora's Tower) is a licensed PS4 developer.

Posted by Hardcore Brawler on 22 February 2013 - 05:06 AM in General Gaming

Hi everyone!

The number of publishers and developers willing to support the PS4 is pretty huge.
Ranging from big names like Ubisoft and Activision to independent devs like Grasshopper Manufacturer and Platinum Games. Sounds normal, right?

Well, the huge number of supporters didn't surprise me at all. We are used to that, that's the Playstation brand!
What really surprised was the presence of Ganbarion  logo in that list of PS4 supporters.

You can check out the list of the supporters here: http://www.mcvuk.com...for-ps4/0111227

Sure, Ganbarion is an independent game developer. Ganbarion has the right to support any game console they desire.
But it seems that Nintendo lost an ally in this "war".
Ganbarion has been supporting Nintendo-only systems for a couple of years. Developing Jump Stars games and Pandora's Tower for Nintendo, and developing One Piece games for Namco Bandai to be released on a Nintendo system.

We haven't heard a word from Ganbarion for too long, I thought they were busy in a new collaboration project with Nintendo. (Pandora's Tower 2?)
They might be working on a PS4 game after all.

Well, what do you think?
In any case, I am looking forward to see whatever game Ganbarion is working on.

#164560 Yarn Yoshi

Posted by Hardcore Brawler on 29 January 2013 - 11:07 AM in Wii U Games and Software

it looks amazing just like kirby´s epic yarn but i hope the make it more challenging since the kirby game was too damn easy

Exactly.

They really should take Yoshi's Island as a model.
IMO... Yoshi's Island is the greatest example of an entertaining+balanced platforming game.

It's always sad to see people lose their jobs.
Good luck for Mr.Spector and the guys.

Metal Gear Solid 3
Zelda OoT
Zelda PH
SSBB
Resident Evil 4
Pokemon Red
Tetris (Gameboy)

There are a lot of other games too. Games such as Skyward Sword, Goldeneye 007, Ninja Gaiden 3 (NES), Kid Icarus: Uprising, Half-Life 2, A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Castlevania and many more.

#124653 Miyamoto meeting with third party devs to convince them to support Wii U

Posted by Hardcore Brawler on 05 November 2012 - 10:51 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Interesting.
And while they are at it, I really hope that Nintendo would reach out to even more of those third party/indie developers and work together, the same way they worked with Next Level Games, Monster Games, Tecmo and most lately Platinum Games.

It seems that the Gamepad is really easy to get used to.
It was a nice read, thanks.
I can't wait to get my hands on the Wii U.

Now, onto the demo of Ratman Legends.

#124626 Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros. U first scores

Posted by Hardcore Brawler on 05 November 2012 - 08:47 AM in Wii U Games and Software

New Super Mario Bros. U

- May look the same, but there are some “incredible tweaks”

That's what I am looking for.
A good start, can't wait to hear more from other critics + see how will NG3: Razor's Edge perform.

#124298 super smash bros 3ds/wii u canceled?

Posted by Hardcore Brawler on 04 November 2012 - 11:46 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Yeah, it is canceled. Smash Bros just hasn't been profitable since the first one. They just want the series to end, and thus Brawl was the last one.

:(

"The brawl to end them all." :P

#124280 Alternate Costumes for Ryu & Ayane in NINJA GAIDEN 3: RAZOR'S EDGE DL...

More reasons for me to feel better and better after skipping the 360 version in favour of Razor's Edge.
Too bad the european RE arrives in 2013. I cannot wait any much longer, I've been waiting since last year's E3.

#124234 NEW NINTENDO LAND!

Posted by Hardcore Brawler on 04 November 2012 - 08:49 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Octopus Dance doesn't look that bad.
I am glad there is a musical game in Nintendo Land, I am huge fan of rhythm games and Nintendo's VGM in general.

Made profit on WiiWare

Good to hear that.
Looking forward to NA Neo, I would be happy if thier unannounced Wii U game turned out to be a traditional platformer game (I don't know why I did say that).

Anyone interested in a new "Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru" (For the Frog the Bell Tolls)?
Nintendo didn't let us enjoy the first one, but it is always good to see old Nintendo IPs shine again (or maybe shine for the first time ever).

For U and the frog, the bell tolls.

#123704 Nintendo opens full sites for four of its Wii U games (more to come)

Posted by Hardcore Brawler on 02 November 2012 - 04:37 AM in The Museum

I didn't log in to Wii U forums for a long time ago... Now I returned , I noticed that many members here use the same styled Wii U signature pics.
Then I found about your topic, Cerberuz.

You really did a great job. ^-^
I am going to use the Pikmin 3 one, thanks a lot Cerberuz.
