#170407 What do you want from Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Posted by negative_zero on 11 February 2013 - 04:49 PM in Wii U Games and Software

If indeed "X" is Xenoblade Chronicles 2?

I have a bunch of things on my wish list, but for this top 10 list I focused more on improvements to stuff that was already in Xenoblade Chronicles as opposed to crazy new ideas.

What do you think?

I have some crazy new ideas too though. The trailer seemed to suggest that specific parts of monsters can now be targeted, which leads to all kinds of potential awesomeness. Anyone remember Chrono Trigger?! Having to take out certain parts of enemies before you could attack the others? I love that kind of thing.

Negative World review:

http://www.negativew...ndo-wii-u-eshop

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of comedy? Light-hearted jibes? Socially aware critique? Straight up slapstick? That one guy who smashes watermelons all over middle-aged women for some reason? For me it is murder. Stone cold, heinous murder, and the more disturbing, the better.

Did I just say murder?

...ok, maybe not. My mind isn’t quite that sinister. But there is no denying the appeal of a dark comedy, and The Cave, the latest game from Double Fine Productions’ famed Ron Gilbert (Maniac Mansion, The Secret of Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, etc.) is most certainly that.

And it goes on from there.

#134049 First Little Inferno (creators of World of Goo / Henry Hatsworth) review?

Posted by negative_zero on 19 November 2012 - 08:46 PM in Wii U Games and Software

Hey guys, I've been playing the heck out of Little Inferno and I just finished up my review for it. The final word is: there is no final word. I suspect that this game is going to get a lot of very, very different reviews. We'll see.
