I've posted this issue several times and I did updated my Wii U @ work and it took half hour no interruptions whatsoever,.. but only happened while playing Nintendo land and connected to the internet so far.

It happened to me too but my internet is a wireless antenna and if the cell site i'm connected to is packed with calls & data it will drop,... will try to root my cell phone and use tether to test it.

was your gf playing Nintendo land? I did a full update on mine and that happened when I played Nintendo land only. So far played NSMB & Batman and no problems whatsoever. When I did get this message I turned the console off and placed my pad on the charger and then turned it on again with the pad charging to monitor if it happened again.

I'm sure Nintendo line-up will be displayed on Wii U: Zelda, Metroid, Super Smash Bro., Mario Galaxy, Donkey Kong, Star Fox,.., But I will love to get another Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Injustice: Gods Among Us (by the way Wii U has no collectors edition), Street Fighter, SW: Rogue Squadron, Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy, SoulCalibur,...

The gamepad connection to the console happened to me twice,.. but it has happened only while playing the Nintendo land game,... apparently there is a software problem so I might imagine another update soon.

My problem with the game pad is that it gets an unstable connection to the console even though its fully charged and the console is working fine. I reset the pad in about 1ft of distance from the console and still get the same message. Turned off wireless router, phone bluetooth and still get the same message. I will continue troubleshooting this today. I think this might be a software problem maybe with the update, but will have to wait and see what Nintendo says,.. a lot of people are experiencing this problem as I google it.
