#144445 Wii U won't stay connected

Posted by tapasboy on 06 December 2012 - 04:55 AM in Wii U Hardware Help

Same here. But it's out the question to use a cable when this thing has wireless. The wii had no problems.

Yeah, agree with you there but when the wireless dosen`t work properly then cable it`s better then nothing.
Never had any problems with the WII either.

#144421 Wii U won't stay connected

I had the same problem, kept loosing the connection all the time, even if i placed the WII U right beside the router..tried everything, but nothing helped, my PS3 and Xbox360 and iPad works just fine so there is no problem with my wireless router.

Bought a Ethernet Adapter just to se if using a cable would help and it did...works as charm no but dont know if it would solve your problem.

Hey.

just wondering if one can use the ethernet adapter from the WII on the WII U ?

My WII U is located in the basement and wireless router is located on the second floor so the signal is week down in the basement, so wanted to use a cablet connection down there.

#142093 Hi from a 'older' gamer (new to this thing!)

Posted by tapasboy on 02 December 2012 - 10:46 AM in Introduction Central

Hey.

I am an old gamer myself, been playing games from the early 80s, always been an Nintendo fan but have all kinds of consols.
Have the last years been a pc gamer and are now used to mouse and keyboard but WII U looked so interesting so had to give it a try and i have to say i am not disappointed

By the way-the 80s rocked, good times. ;)

@Shogo: Hehe, i place the gamerpad in the charger after every time i stop playing...i think about 3 hours battery time is just bad.

@Markusjayjay: you will, my survivors keep dying like flies so you probably will meet one of my rotting corpses walking around one time or another. ;)
