I got it about thirteen years early.

I'd hang them on my fridge any day.

They ARE hanging on my fridge.

#7832 Super Smash Bros. Brawl Tournament: Sign Up Here!

Posted by Marina on 16 June 2011 - 03:52 PM in General Gaming

This is my tentative registration. I may or may not actually be able to play.
Though, I haven't played in such a long time and I certainly don't intend to practice. Just gonna roll with it and see how it goes.

#6727 Your favorite video game character?

Porky Minch is quite clearly the greatest video game character.
Alternatively, Kefka.

#6725 NES Vs. SNES

Posted by Marina on 15 June 2011 - 03:12 AM in General Gaming

On one hand, the NES has Megaman 1-3, and Final Fantasy 1.
On the other hand, the SNES has Super Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV and VI, Earthbound, and a whole bunch of other absurdly awesome games.

I think the SNES gets my vote on this one.

#5873 Best villain

Why hasn't anyone said Porky Minch yet?
The lack of a Mother fanbase here is disgusting.

Kefka from Final Fantasy VI. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA !!!!!!!

The fact that it took this long for people to say Porky Minch and Kefka upsets me more than I thought possible.

#5864 Scariest game

Posted by Marina on 14 June 2011 - 09:47 AM in General Gaming

The very first Resident Evil for the PlayStation. The controls, the camera, the atmosphere, and the design enhanced the thrills of the game. It was unlike anything I've played at the time.

Aliens versus Predator for the PC. I'm not referring to the 2010 release. This game always kept me on my toes because the aliens would pop up randomly throughout the level.

I feel that Resident Evil's horror factor was lessened by the bright graphics and the hilariously bad awesome voice acting.

I played the REmake when I was, like, eight or nine (because my father was a jerk and thought I'd like it).  Scared the hell out of me.  I returned to the game last summer and, instead of quitting out of fear, I quit out of boredom.  A few weeks ago I finally beat the thing and it was a lovely experience.

I have a hard time answering the topic question because games aren't particularly scary to me, not even Amnesia.  Lovely concept and what I imagine to be an incredibly, incredibly frightening game, though.

#5857 Your favorite game that no one plays

Posted by Marina on 14 June 2011 - 09:39 AM in General Gaming

Seems like there are too many people who don't know what Sweet Home is. I have to say, I love the idea of the game, but the gameplay leaves more than a little to be desired. I still love it to death though.

Well I guess I'm here now too. Pretend this is an interesting introduction thread.
