Some other people are having problems with their passwords being recognised. We've literally just left Virgin and gone to Sky (as of yesterday), so I can't tell you, sorry :(

Does your password contain all letters and numbers? No characters such as $?

I have sold my Wii U, so if I deleted you from NN before I sold it, or haven't accepted your friend request since, this is why.

I am also on Virgin Broadband, But i really find it strange why it cannot connect.
I will check this out when i get my Wii U hopefully tomorrow.

I wonder if Virgin Media will have a workaround for customers.

Have you tried asking VM on their support forum regarding the issue?

I'ma try those now, having same issue with upc internetz, except it's nothing to do with my provider, my own modem/router settings probably

Cheers worked a treat, I hate manual setting so i hope they fix it soon.

I have never been able to play my 3ds games online (I use Virgin), is there a fix for that? It's rather infuriating... (I can get online, just never on any matches...)
