Got the Valve Complete Pack on Steam for $50 yesterday, and I've been playing a ton of Portal. It is awesome.

Sounds good. I'll try HL2 first then. I've heard lots about the Gravity Gun, and want to try it, too.
Btw, Garry's Mod is also on sale for $2.49. Is that worth it, too?

It's basically a gaint Sandbox
You use Source Command Prompts to summon objects.
The main Purpose of GM is Machinima, which it is used for with some great example, Such as this one
