steambox is a pc in a small case. It runs the steam client on linux. It is a PC. Don't buy it, build your own PC for less.

I don't think the Ouya is going to play games like Half Life 3. From what I understand, it is designed to play mobile games on your TV (it has the power of a tablet). Steambox I assume will be download based, since Steam is a digital distribution platform. I don't know about building a gaming laptop, but I built my gaming PC for ~500 (not including monitor or operating system). fl studio 10 gave me a blue screen virus when I tried to get it free. so now I make all my music from the demo version. Funny thing is that the only difference between full and demo is that you can't save. You can't get mixcraft free though. I've tried so many times.

I got Fl Studio 10 producers edition free from 4shared and it works fine. I can even plug in VST's.
