steambox is a pc in a small case. It runs the steam client on linux. It is a PC. Don't buy it, build your own PC for less.

I don't think the Ouya is going to play games like Half Life 3. From what I understand, it is designed to play mobile games on your TV (it has the power of a tablet). Steambox I assume will be download based, since Steam is a digital distribution platform. I don't know about building a gaming laptop, but I built my gaming PC for ~500 (not including monitor or operating system).
