A few quick questions: How does one use the blinkin' sensor strip on the gamepad? You know, the two IR LEDs next to the camera? Also, does Nintendo Land not support gamepad-only gameplay? If it does, how do you switch it? It just seems to me like there should be a set button or menu for switching between screens. Otherwise, how can they know that every game takes only 3 seconds to switch??? It just doesn't make sense.

Alrighty. Thanks fer the response. It just seems like Nintendo themselves would utilize ALL of the features.

Nintendo suck at using the stuff they make.
Vitality sensor for example.

When you're playing a game go to the home menu and go to miiverse and make a post on whatever community and you can add a screenshot of that point!

I can't believe I mistook Nintendo Land for a simple game... Metroid Blast alone (probably my favorite attraction) has 30 different levels, and I'd say it's worth at least $15. And that's only in singleplayer! Luigi's Ghost Mansion is probably my favorite exclusively multiplayer attraction. It's super creepy to be a Ghost Hunter (which is fun), and really cool to be the ghost, sneaking around everywhere. I'd say that combined, all the attractions are well...

Hmm... How come the image from the Wii U is stretched out a little past the screen? A very slight part of the image is always cut off! I've figured out how to fix it in certain apps, like Miiverse, but I can't figure out how to adjust it for, say, the menu, or even in game. Any suggestions?

There should be settings for screen size in Miiverse under settings. or if your TV has a "just scan" feature that would work too.

Ok. Yeah, it doesn't make sense to have to adjust it for every app...

I'm scared... My Wii U has crashed 3 times now. It happens after a few minutes of playing Nintendo land. The screen just freezes, and a sawtooth tone plays. The console won't turn off, so I have to unplug it. Not sure if it's just Nintendo land, or if it's the console itself. I'll test it out some more. I really hope I didn't spend $350 on a console that stops and beeps every few minutes. :(

Happened to me twice . Peeps on Miiverse are complaining, so I hope nintendo sends out a message talking about it soon.

I'd suggest calling Nintendo's tech support hotline. Even if they cannot fix the problem immediately, they can note down the details and send them to the relevant developers.

Awesome dude!
Remember that the update takes a while so if you want to play immediately (like I did) then skip it till later.

Yeah, it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 6-10hours depending on your internet, so you won't be able to play immediately.

So my mom went to Target to pick up a Wii U, but the lady there said they didn't have any. She called them a while later, and the electronics dude there said that theu DID have one, and he's holding one for me now... Hopefully he's right. :P I'd better not get too excited, though, or I'll be in for yet another nasty surprise tomorrow if it turns out they actually don't have any...

It's torture bro... oh DON'T unplug the Wii U when system update happening! And don't turn it off either!

Yeah, heard about that. Might not be bricked, though... Could be that it just goes into "autopilot" mode.

Point is, don't turn it off. Also to change brightness and stuff you go to the home menu to do that.

Nope. Nowhere in town has a single blinkin' Wii U. This is the thousandth time I've wanted to punch something in a week. D:

Wow. There are absolutely no problems with Wii U supplies in my area. The closest Future Shop even had signs up in its windows proclaiming, "Wii U - now in stock!"
Then again, it always struck me as an area dominated by Xbox 360 fans. >_>

I hope so. And I believe in the theory that the "brickage" is actually just the system going into "autopilot mode".
