Not even bro. I use all free vsts, and I guarantee you wouldn't even be able to tell The reason thing like Massive, Sylenth and Serum receive so much praise and people think they /have/ to buy them is because they're very very pliable and often make things easy. So unless you're actually planning on getting into some really weird sound design it's not a necessity.
