Wrote up my intial post for the MH3U help thread in microsoft word. All basic mechanics and rookie mistakes covered. Just need the game to confirm a couple things and we are good to go.

I tell ya, just covering the basics so they don't make rookie mistakes is huge. I barely scratched the surface and it's like 8 pages, single spaced. I didn't even touch weapon type specifics, forging and upgrading, and advanced hunting techniques like I originally planned. Makes me appreciate the work done for the wiki and the official MH3U guide that's 1200 pages.

Gonna try and make a Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate help thread when the game comes out. Might be 9 or 10PM central time before it goes up as I need to get the game and confirm some things. My starting post will have a lot of info to help newcomers. Definitely gonna need to use spoilers so it's not longer than most threads with one post.
