The one time I didn't tip was completely justified. Opening Night for Les Miserable at my school, guys call Denny's at 5 saying "FYI, expect 90+ People at 10-11". Denny's hung up and the manager was there when 95 high school kids come in. Hour long wait for a milkshake is absurd, especially with warning.

I didn't really mind giving him the tip since I've also heard how bad the jobs are, but I just foud it kind of funny when I was calculating after he left and I was like "Huh, that's not 5-15%"
It was $5 btw.

I should probably point out then that much of the movie's script actually came about when Jonathan Nolan was commissioned to look into wormholes and the theory of relativity. Believe me this is very much an idea based movie.
Also Nolan is the master of making some crazy mind-bending ideas into actual visual effects, and that's also very much present in the movie. I really don't think Spielberg would have pulled this off nearly as well as the Nolans.

Still, it was written for Spielberg. I'd at least like to see how he would have done it. It's like giving a script meant for James Gunn to Joss Whedon. It would still work, but..It would feel off. Like Eoin Colfer wrapping up Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Series

The things people are finding out from studying amiibo's is incredibly awesome. This /has/ to become a side event at tourneys. Also Ninty needs to do this on a massive scale for Pokemon.

i collect but also play with them. im 34. lol. i think kids will eat them up for sure, but lots of people my age who grew up with these characters from the start are also on board.

A lot of people in the competitive kind of got them just cause they're such big fans of the series, but the incredible amount of depth there has got people hooked and now everyone kind of wants one. Seriously, these things let you live out all your pokemon trainer dreams. It's incredible.

I think everyone is. They really need help in the PR department. Their breakup thing is definitely looking like almost 100% their fault, and their coming off as huge douches after the breakup to boot.
rainman on the other hand straight up said his side of the story, filed a law suit and just moved on.
And from their new song you can tell that he was where all the talent of the group was. the Krewella sisters are probably done for, at least in the EDM community.
