Saw interstellar this weekend. Was really good, but nore of an inception than prestige (which is still my favourite Nolan movie).

Mememento, lol. Bad typo. Speilburg just can nail that sense of wonder that most movies about space would require, that's just me though.

I should probably point out then that much of the movie's script actually came about when Jonathan Nolan was commissioned to look into wormholes and the theory of relativity. Believe me this is very much an idea based movie.
Also Nolan is the master of making some crazy mind-bending ideas into actual visual effects, and that's also very much present in the movie. I really don't think Spielberg would have pulled this off nearly as well as the Nolans.

Still, it was written for Spielberg. I'd at least like to see how he would have done it. It's like giving a script meant for James Gunn to Joss Whedon. It would still work, but..It would feel off. Like Eoin Colfer wrapping up Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Series
