Why does everybody say the Wii U's reveal was so bad? Am I the only one that was incredibly hyped from the moment I saw the reveal?

When I saw it, I defiantly thought new console, and sometimes I can be pretty dim. I was really hyped, but now and then feels a lot different in terms of the console itself to me for some reason.

When they revealed it, I honestly had no idea what it was, was it a new console? Was it a handheld? Was it an addon to the Wii since it's called Wii U? Ooh it can play games, must be a handheld. I had no idea it was the next home console.

I see how it might not have been clear. I remember following a lot of the "cafe" rumors prior to the announcement, so I went in expecting a console reveal.

I would think it would work best if you already have a PS console, ps3/4 or vita. There are apps too, and streaming as well I believe. I don't own one yet.

It's bad on splat zones compared to turf wars since it takes 5 hits to kill someone and has short range. Whereas other guns take 2-3 bullets. And since splatzones focus a lot of covering a small area and killing people, it's meh in my opinion, much rather use something with a bubbler or 3 hit weapon

Wow! so Now You cant even enjoy the Shin'en Fast Racing Neo thread on neogaf because they ported Nano Assault to PS4 everyone is can't wait for the ps4 version. I saw this coming sadly. Please Shin'en just let the Wii U have this exclusively

Huh, so the EU version of Splatoon's final boss is a lot more... Boring than NA's... Weird. I guess, you could tell Treehouse was having an absolute blast with the game...

(SPLATOON SPOILER ALERT) I just watched a video, "Drop the sea bass" "You slimy hispter" Geez, in the EU version is was just "I'll get you for that" or other generic quotes.
