Yea they will hold it for you for 48hrs. After that they will refund your money as a gift card and chager a 15% restock fee. Depends on store tho.

And it does smell funny, it probably doesn't to you because you've lives their your entire life, and it is actually extremely wet and humid, it gets the 2nd most rainfall of any state (behind Hawaii) but I have never had a bad experience in Florida! Go Disney!
