I just learned that Monolithsoft is a first party developer for Nintendo, like Nintendo actually owns all of it. Thats pretty cool, especially considering they think of themselves as the Japanese "Bethserda". Nintendo needs to utilize them from now on, and let Retro studios breath, their DKC games are beyond amazing but they need to show their creative side to blow people away like Xenoblade Chronicles from Monolithsoft.

I'm still surprised people don't know this. They also have two studios. The one in tokyo is the one who worked on Skyward Sword, Mario Kart and such. The mIn studi does Xenoblade

They always seemed more like a second party or something. But thats cool, they helped with SS and MK too? Well different studio than Xenoblade still, but cool.
I'm just not good at all with studios, at all.

Pier Solar sucks. Amazing OST tho. Poor combat. Dungeons are a maze. Towns are as well. Super cryptic. It's easy to like it with nostalgia glasses but this is a terrible game.

lol first off I was kidding. i'm not really turning into a Weeaboo, and I have no shame about liking Japan at all. What you're saying is true where people often assume these days that anyone not from Japan that likes Japan is a weeaboo, which is why i cleared that up with Big Boss a couple days ago.
But yes, being a Weeaboo is kind of a bad thing, and I'm not one at all. I just said that because I'm starting to like more and more things about Japan, but I'm not really...

Guys. I'm not an american. This is why the only thing worse than being a weeb is being an American for me. I wasn't born there, and I've never lived there, and I never want to. My only connection to the place is I have a lot of family there.
But Japan? I feel the desire for my great country Nippon, gloriously rising in my heart.
