8-player smash might just be the feature that pushes me to get Sm4sh... I don't think my family and friends could resist playing a game with 8 people... But how does it work? Does it require a 3DS or what?

Ah, yeah, I forgot about backwards compatibility with the GC on Wii. I got the later version without GC ports.
On a happy note, though, I finally got to do a job today, and I'll probably get to go a few more times, so I'll get a bit more money. :)

Just watched the Smash Direct. From a casual perspective at the least, this is without a doubt the best smash game ever, and by a wide margin as well.

8 player smash is gonna be CRAZY only problem is, my room is WAY too small for 8 people to fit and be able to see everything on the TV, dammit smash bros you're gonna make me have to rent a small shack or something lol XD

Yes, but like I said, I am not comfortable with bringing it to school because of how large it is and how much it all costs in total.

Wait how a large what is? And if you mean the cost of paying 8 controllers, that' the beauty of it: you don't havve to. Tell people to bring their own, and I gurantee you they will.
