If the captains in pikmin 3 are trying to get fruits to bring back to their planet, then how are they going to breathe, since oxygen is dangerous to the species? If so then why are they wearing space suits? Do they have to wear space suits non stop on their planet? CONSPIRACY

The space suits filter the oxygen, as for the fruits they grow because of CO2 and during the night when they don't do photosynthesis they are gaining O2 from the cells they're located in.
