DodoGo! is one of those brilliant indie games that never got the marketing budget or buzz it deserved - you'll probably get lots of recommendations for Shantae: Risky's Revenge and Mario vs. DK, but DodoGo! is just as good as either of those, IMO.
Since it was originally designed to be released to retail, it's also overflowing with a -massive- amount of content.

That's my suggestion. Aura-Aura Climber would then be a great way to spend some of the remaining $4. There's an awful lot of game in it for just $2.
