i've reviewed the Pokemon X and Y trailer a couple times and ive noticed that the game takes place in France! (or whatever they call it, either way its based on modern day france.

I don't think that was actual game footage, it was you, living in france, becoming a pokemon master through the game, which is now in 3d, for more realism.

that's why the sparks went out worldwide, everyone from around the world at the same time get to be pokemon masters.
